Teaching

I am a freelance art educator working with a number of institutions and organisations to deliver engaging and supportive teaching for all ages on a range of disciplines including illustration, animation, drawing, painting and textiles.

I am currently a visiting lecturer in Illustration at Winchester School of Art Graphic Arts BA Hons. I deliver skills workshops, set projects, give group and one-on-one tutorials and lead crits.

I completed a year of Bow Arts Artist Educator training and am now a freelance Artist Educator at Bow Arts delivering workshops, curriculum inspired art sessions and PPA cover in Primary and Secondary State Schools and Youth Clubs in East and North London. Below are a series of images from a stop-motion animation class I created and delivered for 90 students across Years 7, 8 and 9.

I have worked with The Royal Drawing School since 2018 delivering weekly extra-curricular drawing classes and life-drawing sessions for students aged 9-18. I teach drawing in a way that is very experimental and student-led encouraging each young artist to express their unique creative vision rather than focusing on accuracy. I have worked with the RDS in schools, galleries and institutions such as The National Gallery and public spaces such as Cass Art locations.

With the Royal Drawing School I also run drop-in family life drawing sessions at free family festivals like All Points East In The Neighbourhood. These sessions included participants of all ages and abilities.

I run free drop in sign making workshops at The Glory ahead of protests for all-ages. Below are a series of images from the session I ran ahead of London Trans Pride.
